Matt is so lovely and calm and makes every thing feel calm too.
We were a little nervous about being in front of the camera but Matt made us feel very comfortable. Also, a lot of the day he just blended in and we forgot that pictures were being taken which was great. The photos we received are just stunning, better than we ever could have asked for. We had a Harry Potter themed wedding and he went away and researched Harry Potter so he could get things just perfect. And he did.

Can’t recommend Mat enough, absolutely a credit to what he does. A professional without the “strict” routine of pose in this way or pose that way. The whole day felt relaxed and at times it felt as though he wasn’t there. He managed to capture those off guard moments and those photos are my favourite.
He understood from the start what we wanted and was very accommodating, he was friendly enough that it was a pleasure to have him around and not feel awkward. The photos are absolutely stunning and give us a great look back into our special day.

Where do I even start to write a review for Mat.
From start to finish everything Mat did for us was perfect.
We booked Mat pretty much completely blind we had looked at his website once and met him once and knew straight away that he was the photographer for us.
Mat’s style fit perfectly to how we wanted to capture our special day.
When it came to the big day itself Mat was super professional and in all honesty at times I completely forgot that he was there snapping away. No task was too much to ask. Especially when I threw it out there I wanted to grab some pictures up at Curbar edge, Mat was more than happy to oblige.
Then came the images there are just no words to describe how perfect they are. They have captured the day perfectly. From the small details to the big Mat captured it all.
I can’t wait to get them on the wall at home!

Mat was our photographer for our wedding in Feb 2020. We booked him to do our engagement shoot, which took place a few weeks before the wedding.
Upon meeting Mat, he made us feel comfortable and our engagement shoot was fun, relaxed and easy going. It was immensely helpful to learn how he worked and for my partner and I to learn how to be in front of the camera together. We knew we had made the right choice.
On the day itself Mat attended the Bridal preparation, where he took some fabulous photo’s the Bridal party getting ready, we didn’t even know he was there, so the photos are all relaxed and non-intrusive, which really helped to capture the atmosphere of the morning. We also had Mat’s second photographer Jason who was just as excellent capturing moments from the Groom & Groomsmen at the venue before the ceremony.
Mat was with us from the early hours till late evening giving us memories of the full day, he was casual, real and relaxed but highly committed and professional. On our wedding day we had snow, hail, freezing gale force winds and sun which must have been difficult to deal with, but he remained calm, relaxed and fun and our photos have all turned out amazing. We wanted smoke bombs, our dog Hugo to be photographed (he was our ring bearer) and some non-typical wedding shots, which was met with enthusiasm and understanding.
All of the photos we have received have really captured the important moments beautifully and they have brought tears to our eyes. Thank you so much Mat!

So where do we even start! After having a keen eye for photography myself, I found myself being very picky when looking at professional photographers wedding albums.
We attended so many wedding fayres to find the right photographer, but I kept finding faults. However - I came across Mat via online searching and what a breath of fresh air he was! His photographs are like no other and I found myself tearing up over other people's photos on his website so I bit the bullet and sent him a Facebook message.
Right from the first message we received back, we knew we had found the right man for the job! He is lovely, down to earth and so easy to talk to - when we met with him he asked so many questions and came up with ideas we hasn't even thought of! The day came and went so quickly but Mat was there capturing every precious moment, right from bridal prep he just did his own things and we barely even noticed him.

Finding the right photographer was always important to me when wedding planning, I must have looked through 100 different options online, and when I saw Mats photos, I just knew those were the ones I wanted!
I contacted Mat and booked immediately when he confirmed he was available. Our wedding was moved from last year to this June and Mat couldn’t have been more helpful throughout, excellent communication and flexibility. I followed Mats other photography throughout lockdown and became increasingly jealous as I couldn’t wait to have my own photos! We had a meeting at the venue prior to the big day to run through our plans. The day itself went perfectly with Mat there always capturing the right moments, our venue was perfect to blend wedding photos with Mats amazing landscape photography and we are absolutely over the moon with the photos.

On the day Mat was barley noticeable, he was very discreet in Church.
