Rainworth Village Hall is a real hidden gem, its only ten minutes away from me but I hadn’t realised just how lovely it was inside dressed with drapes, twinkle lights and other decor until paying a visit to the venue myself.

The Perfect Venue for a Mansfield or Nottingham Wedding Reception

Rainworth Village Hall is the perfect venue to relax and party after a Nottinghamshire church ceremony or tying the knot at the lovely County House Mansfield Registry Office.

One of my favourite things about the location is its just a few minutes drive away from the gorgeous Ransom Woods near Mansfield. Stunning tall pine trees and woodland make for gorgeous romantic photographs of just the two of you.

We can stop off and have a wander through the gorgeous forest on the way from your ceremony to Rainworth Village Hall for you to have a moment to yourselves, let it all sink in and get some stunning photographs of you both just after saying ‘I do!’

There is a conservatory at the side of the hall which can be used as an area for a buffet, leaves the main hall clear for the rest of your wedding guests to enjoy.

The stage is medium sized with professional standard lighting and PA available if you are having a wedding band or other live entertainment they can make the most of the amazing facilities.

The main hall, known as ‘The Phoenix Suite’, consists of a really bright and airy function room with a modern stage area. The hall is equipped with a modern fully licensed bar, capable of seating 180 guests and has a top quality dance floor for your guests to party the night away!

I took the venue photographs below during a recent wedding open day where the amazing venue team had set the hall up to let brides and grooms see how the the room would be arranged for their big day.

Another option for photographs with it being so close is to head over for a wander in the many surrounding fields at sunset, golden hour pictures in crop fields a real magic feeling to them… beautiful light, romantic silhouettes, dramatic skies… the fields around Rainworth have it all!

Don’t panic if the weather takes a turn for the worse on your wedding day, the hall has more than enough space to do gorgeous group photos indoors and I always bring along extra lighting and a big umbrella so we can do some dramatic gorgeous pictures outside in the rain.
