Ringwood Hall Hotel & Spa is an absolutely gorgeous Derbyshire wedding venue near Chesterfield which has a beautiful rustic charm and so many original features you really are spoilt for choice when it comes to your wedding photography.
An incredible centre staircase, sandstone block walls, grand chandeliers and ground to ceiling big bright windows for natural lighting all work together to create the perfect setting for stunning photographs of you both to look back on for years to come.
Set right in the heart of some amazing countryside it has extensive grounds which make for stunning winter walks, whatever the weather there are areas covered by the extensive verandas, pergola and conservatories as well as extensive gardens to explore.
With a background of vibrant colour from autumn leaves or a background of coloured flowers on romantic summer strolls, whatever time of year you choose Ringwood Hall will look incredible .
I also need to mention the wedding team at Ringwood Hall, from your dedicated wedding co-ordinator to the bar staff and restaurant team everyone works together brilliantly to ensure your day runs to perfection. Its always such a stress free and relaxed day and if the weather takes a turn for the worse they are able to comfortable house all of your guests indoors whilst we explore the hall for some beautifully lit indoor wedding photography.

Idea 1! When the night draws in the photography doesn’t need to stop.
Ringwood Hall looks completely different as the light fades away and the lights come on. The building really comes to life so choose a photographer who doesn’t rely only on natural light but is an expert with off camera flash too so you can get creative!
I love to create something unique for my couples, playing with the light and the building to pull together a real statement image that is sure to ‘wow’ your friends and family.
Idea 2! Autumn and winter weddings at Ringwood Hall work really well.
Depending on what time you get married daylight is especially limited from November through to January. Often a 13:30pm ceremony only leaves 90 minutes before you are back in for dinner so as part of our detailed consultation we can nail down when to sneak away to take some relaxed gorgeous wedding photographs of just the two of you, making the most of the winter skies and the amazing features around the grounds of the hall.
Idea 3! Spring and summer weddings mean you can make full use of the grounds of the venue which are just amazing.
Original stone features, big stairways, views across rolling countryside, traditional stone walls, ancient trees and views over Chesterfield make for the most beautiful wedding photographs. There’s lots of room for children to let off steam and with a great view of the horizon there is always the chance of a dramatic sky or nice sunset photograph to end the day.

With mood lighting to match your chosen colour scheme transforming the beautiful draped domed ceiling, the Ringwood Suite embodies pure timeless elegance.
The Ringwood Suite is able to accommodate Civil ceremonies between 80 and 250 guests
With its large multi-paned windows, the Portland Suite accentuates is filled with natural light and is a photographers dream… even in the depths of winter the room feels light and airy.
Whether you’re planning an intimate or larger ceremony the Portland Suite represents the bygone era of the magnificent manor house. It is the perfect choice for ceremonies, wedding breakfasts and evening celebrations. The Portland Suite is able to accommodate Civil ceremonies with up to 80 guests.
