Santos Higham Farm is set in the heart of the Derbyshire countryside overlooking the picturesque landscape of Amber Valley. It dates all the way back to the 15th century and takes the form of a farmhouse hotel that perfectly blends period character with modern features.
Luca & Simon were married during lockdown restrictions and had the most perfect intimate wedding ceremony with just their very closest family and friends.
The ceremony was held at 3pm on the most perfect summers day in June, confettie, champagne and then by 5pm they were off on their way to a honeymoon escape in a stunning Beauford wedding car!
We had just enough time to explore the beautiful gardens at Santos Higham Farm and take some relaxed photographs with the breath taking scenery as a perfect backdrop.
There are so many opportunities for stunning wedding photographs including the gorgeous narrow village streets lined with historic old cottages, the incredible Peak District views from the patio area or the perfectly maintained gardens and driveways which surround the venue.

The wedding ceremony courtyard is absolutely stunning, steel beams and clear ceiling it is flooded with flattering natural daylight there is no need for flash photography.
As an extra bonus the roof automatically slides open revealing a stunning sky view.
