What an absolutely incredible wedding day at the stunning Kelham House and Country Manor Newark on Trent.
Danny and Jenna timed the date perfectly, after three weeks of rain it was a day of none stop beautiful sunshine for their Nottingham wedding so we all got to make the most of the stunning grounds around Kelham House.
After a fun filled morning with the bridal party getting ready and lots of flower girls up to mischief keeping everyone on their toes I popped downstairs to grab some pictures of the groom and his best man getting suited up. Before we new it the registrar arrived and it was time to head off for the ceremony.
We came up with a plan for a photograph of Jenna and Danny looking out of the sash windows of Kelham House just before getting married, so they would both be in the same picture but could not see each other which was a lovely moment, especially when their daughter also made an unexpected appearance!
They created an amazing woodland walk telling the story of their life together so far through photographs attached to tree leading up to the final picture of their wedding day.
Surrounded by their family and friends and so many perfect little touches with everything they created (including a hangover kit for all the guests!) it was a day to remember for the rest of their lives together.
The fun didn’t stop when the sun went down, after some lovely romantic shorts in the new Kelham House pergola we were treated with a really beautiful orange sunset so made a quick dash to the woodland at the bottom of the gardens.
It was an amazing emotional day, so many happy moments and some wonderful memories created with the help of amazing family and friends.

Kelham House

I’m a very relaxed Nottingham wedding photographer, so I avoid awkward posing or interrupting those natural moments that happen and whilst I give suggestions and ideas to get you the best possible set of photographs on the day. I remain completely unobtrusive as I capture what’s happening candidly but in a creative way.
Kelham House has so many stunning features every time I’m there I spot great new opportunities for creative wedding photographs, bridal portraits, couple shots and catching the children up to mischief.
The tree lined driveway which leads to Kelham House Hotel, its woodland walks, large paddock area and newly constructed pergoda all make for unique and beautiful intimate couple portraits.
As the light falls away and sunset turns to twilight I love to get creative with off camera flash.
Having been a photographer for almost three decades I love to use my technical ability to capture gorgeous ‘wow’ shots of the two of you using the blue hour sky as a perfect backdrop to the beautiful house and grounds, so I may steal you both from the dance floor for a few minutes if the sky looks nice!
