Rudding Park New Years Day Wedding
Danielle & Gemma had their amazing big day at the beautiful Rudding Park Hotel in Harrogate, a place which means a lot to them both, surrounded by all of their lovely family and friends.
It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster ride with the whole pandemic situation and right up until the week before with the latest government announcement they were still worried it may get derailed at the last moment but thankfully Borris gave the thumbs up and I arrived on new years day morning to find them both really excited for the say ahead!
Rudding Park is just the most gorgeous venue and Kelly from ‘‘Touch of Charm’’ had completely transformed the ceremony room into a blossom tree filled wonderland, it looked absolutely incredible ready for the arrival of the beautiful brides.
Before we knew it the time had arrived to say I do and Danielle & Gemma set off to meet at the top of the hotels stunning staircase. As they did there was a little treat in store for their guests as they had filmed a hilarious video of how they had met which was screened in the ceremony room and had everyone in fits of laughter, I especially enjoyed the voice overs provided by Jo their videographer who had put the whole thing together with them a month before.
The ceremony was beautiful, its the first time I have photographed a circular seating arrangement and it made the whole experience very personal for their family and friends. Their vows were truly heartfelt, focussing on how they have grown as a couple over the years they have been together, all of the adventures they have shared and reflecting on how they bring so much happiness to each other, finishing with their hopes and plans for the future.
Kelly worked her magic transforming the room again for the wedding breakfast which once again looked absolutely incredible and to everyone’s surprise there was a singing waiter interlude before deserts were served.
The rest of their day was filled with dancing, laughter, a rainbow hockey stick guard of honour (which took some serious co-ordinating let me tell you!), photo bingo and amazing food!
It really was an absolutely amazing day, so many little touches, so much thought and effort put into ensuring everyone had a fantastic day, it was an absolute pleasure to spend New Years day with you all and I hope this sneak preview brings back lots of happy memories!
