Anne and Catherine had their big day with a sunflower ceremony at the stunning Wortley Hall, a truly grand Stately home in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
Both brides looked looked absolutely perfect and had a first look moment together just before the ceremony on the grand staircase. Watching Anne’s face light up with excitement and emotion as she walked up Wortley Halls main grand staircase and spotted Catherine in the mirror standing above her was brilliant and a perfect moment I’m sure they will both remember forever.
Led into their marriage ceremony by a traditional Scottish piper and alongside their gorgeous children and watched on by a hundred and fifty of their friends and family in Wortley Hall’s incredible chandelier ballroom they were beaming with smiles. The ceremony concluded with choir singing during the register signing before heading out onto Wotley’s terrace for confetti and applause to seal the marriage.
Sunflowers, sunshine, a beautiful house, kilts and pipers… this is a day I will remember for a long time, it was a joy to witness!

Wortley Hall in Yorkshire is a truly fantastic venue for you to hold your wedding celebrations, one of Sheffield’s most stunning grand houses sat right in the middle of 26 acres of gorgeous maintained gardens.
The beautiful ceremony rooms and Unite Ballroom provide the grandeur and luxury you would expect from a hall steeped in history whilst the Sylvia Pankhurst Library, Clarke Boardroom, outdoor stone terrace and the bright luxurious AUE Lounge all provide intimate unique, picturesque settings for beautiful portraits of just the two of you.
Wortley Hall is a real wedding photographer’s dream and I absolutely love working there. With so many unique features and extravagant original décor to work with when photographing your unforgettable day. I love snapping pictures of people just relaxing and having fun and with all of its landings and large open rooms Wortley Hall provides the perfect vantage points for candid photography.
However big your wedding party the venue can accommodate with ease and the staff work like a well-oiled machine! I have photographed a lovely intimate wedding with 30 guests and a big family wedding with an amazing 220 guests at Wortley Hall and both were equally perfect.
Once the group shots are completed and you have had some time alone together I love to set up some off-camera flash and using the beautiful twilight to create unique images of just the two of you. With Wortley Hall and its big illuminates sash windows as the backdrop to your night time wedding pictures show stopping photographs are all but guaranteed and leave you with memories you will want to look back at again and again.
