Katie & Patrick had their amazing day at the gorgeous Eastwood Hall Hotel wedding venue in Nottingham, sharing their vows with all of their closest friends and family.

It’s always a real privilege being part of such a happy day especially now things are finally starting to get back to normal and the smiles that these two were wearing for the whole day said it all… I don’t think I have ever witnessed two people more excited on the run up to the ceremony and it was really lovely to see.

I had been keeping my eye on the weather and brought lots of extra lighting kit as it was looking like being quite a rainy day but there were no worries as Eastwood Hall is the perfect venue if its looking like being a wet one with so much space indoors to use.

In the end we managed to get out for a five minute wander around the grounds during a break in the rain and Katie & Patrick were in hysterics for the whole thing which made for some great pictures before heading back in for the wedding breakfast and speeches.

In the evening we headed back to the old part of Eastwood Hall for a little explore, the staircase is just stunning and with the help of the brolly we got back outside for two minutes to get some great raining twilight shots… I usually close the doors of a venue when we are doing these photos but those chandeliers in the hallway were to good to miss!

Katie & Patrick it was such a lovely day, it was a pleasure to meet all your families and friends and I hope this little sneak preview brings back some happy memories whilst I get to work on your full gallery!

I have photographed weddings at most of Nottingham’s top wedding venues and Eastwood Hall is one of my absolute favourites. The staff are fantastic, relaxed but attentive and nothing is ever too much trouble.

The food for your wedding breakfast is absolutely delicious (I speak from personal experience!) and the building offers so many opportunities for creative wedding photography… and the fun doesn’t have to stop when the sun goes down, I grab a few off camera flashes and we can explore the house and grounds for some amazing twilight pictures whatever the weather.
