Fireworks, magic and a happy ever after!
Jess and Dan were married with a stunning wedding ceremony at the absolutely gorgeous Kelham House in Nottingham.
I first met Jess and Dan at their engagement shoot in Newark along with their crackers spaniel (which ended with us being asked to leave by security, not because we were being anti social or anything, it was just a bit late in the day lol!) and knew straight away their big day was going to be full of laughs and smiles.
I arrived at Kelham House to find the bridal party getting underway with hair and makeup, the prosecco was flowing and the bridesmaids were giving updates on who was arriving down the long winding driveway, popping up in the windows like meerkats.
Right fromt he start I couldn’t believe the beautiful attention to details, Jess and Dan had added so many little touches from personalised gifts for the whole wedding party, presents for the flower girls and a lovey gift to each other as well as so many little hand crafted dressings around the venue. Everywhere I looked there was just another amazing personalised feature to photograph!
Dan and the groomsmen were ready well ahead of time and after an emotional reveal of Jess to her dad it was time to say ‘I do!’
I’m really lucky, I seem to get lots of emotional couples, its so lovely to see and Jess and Dan were no exception when they saw each other in the aisle, happy tears, big smiles and some personal vows before becoming the new Mr & Mrs Harm.
Before we knew it we were outside for the confetti, a relaxed wander around the grounds and then a personal magic show for just the two of them.
I need to make a special mention to Dan’s two younger brothers, their joint speech was brilliant, I know I’m supposed to be paying attention to taking the pictures but they really had gone to town and I absolutely loved every minute.
The day ended with a stunning fireworks display behind Kelham House before Jess and Dan hit the dancefloor and I said my goodbyes.
Jess…. Dan… you were amazing, thanks for having me along for the ride, I absolutely loved every minute.
