A beautiful Shottle Hall summer wedding
Laurie and Chris were married at the absolutely stunning Shottle Hall hidden away in the middle of the Derbyshire countryside.
I arrived in the morning to find the blossom out, blue skies and lots of sunshine so we were off to a cracking start. The bridal party were getting ready at Shottle Hall and half way through a very chilled out makeup and hair session in the bridal suite Chris and the groomsmen arrived in a limo giving the ladies a sneak preview through the window!
Everything went like clockwork and in no time at all Laurie was looking absolutely incredible in her stunning dress and with all the wedding guests and Chris safely locked in the main room she was ready to head downstairs for the ceremony, and what a lovely ceremony it was! Laurie’s mum was beaming with pride as she walked down the aisle and there were none stop smiles from the bride and groom, I don’t think I have ever seen two people more excited to be saying ‘I do!’
When I first met Laurie and Chris for their wedding consultation I got the feeling their big day would have a real party atmosphere and it certainly did. With the vows complete and some great speeches the music started and the dancing got underway. We managed a few more pictures as the sun went down before I left them to party the night away.
