Laura & Abby were married at the gorgeous Whitley Hall Hotel in Sheffield and it really was the most amazing day.
It’s always exciting to see the personal touches couples make on their big day so when I met up with Laura and Abby a few weeks before their wedding day and they told me all about their Harry Potter theme I couldn’t wait to see it! They absolutely smashed it out of the park, so many amazing touches from the incredible rustic sweet cart, the gorgeous wedding breakfast table decorations and THE most incredible cake.
Whitley Hall has a very ‘Howarts’ feel to it and as soon as I saw the orange lamps and the fireplace in the venues lounge I told them both to grab their wands and just knew the Harry Potter themed photograph above had to be done!
It was a super relaxed morning for bridal prep as they were both staying at Whitley Hall, Abby with her mum, dad and best man in one room and Laura with mum, dad and the bridesmaids in another, I love the excitement and buzz, trying to make sure we didn’t let them bum pinto each other.
In next to no time everyone was looking amazing, hair and makeup complete and after much crossing of fingers the weather held out and we had an absolutely gorgeous outdoor ceremony in the grounds of Whitley Hall in front of all their closest family and friends.
A relaxed cocktail reception with lots of hugs and well wishes before we grabbed twenty minutes to make most of the stunning gardens and court yard for a relaxed wander with just the two of them for some gorgeous couple shots… so much love in these pictures!

As the light fell away in the evening we had another wander around the grounds of Whitley Hall for some romantic pictures under the twinkle lights of just the two of them before I left them to party the night away on the dancefloor.
