Sally & Jake I don’t think I have ever been so excited to share a sneak preview gallery, my first wedding after over three months of lockdown … I hope you both enjoy these gorgeous pictures as much as I did taking them and thank you for inviting me be to part of your perfect day!
I first met Sally & Jake over a year ago and little did we know that between then and our next scheduled catchup a worldwide pandemic would appear from nowhere and bring weddings to a grinding halt! They have both been on a roller coaster ride since we all went into lockdown in March to see whether their wedding would go ahead but stayed amazingly positive. With unbelievably good timing the date they chose all that time ago just happened to be the day weddings became legal again!
They put so much thought and effort into their day to make sure everything was safe, relaxed and fun and said a very emotional ‘I Do!’ in Ashwell Church watched on by 15 of their very closest family and Evie their gorgeous spaniel.
The one silver lining to the current Covid-19 rules (and there aren’t many!) is that with no big venue or party to rush back to and no fixed timeline to stick to we were able to relax, have lots of laughs and get some lovely natural photos wandering around the grounds of Ashwell church… just look at the love in these pictures, I mean seriously!
